"This is not as tense and radical as the great 2022, with slightly lower concentration and acidity. Still, this is an outstanding chardonnay, full of purity, from the elevated vineyards in Yunnan. Expect an excellent combination and integration of flinty toast and creaminess on the nose, marrying with the lemon citrus, bergamot and a saline undertone. Fruit and oak knit well on a medium- to full-bodied, with a lengthy, saline finish. Slightly rounder and creamier this year, but still pretty mouthwatering at the end." -- James Suckling 95 Points
