"Struck river stones. . Pomelo flesh, white nectarine and crab apple blossom. Sandstone, white lily and lemon curd. Marigold and shortbread. Fruit is looking youthful and fresh. A flinty reduction backed but lovely peach ripeness. Dried pineapple and almond flour on the finish. A welterweight of a wine but with substance and flair. Oak is toasty but suits the style and certainly has the fruit to carry it. Drinking very well now and will cellar another 2- years. Serve with buttery crayfish in the shell." -- 95 Points The Wine Pilot
