Excellent interplay of elderberry fruit with licorice, wild herb and chocolate character and powerful but plush tannins. Bold but polished finish. A cuvee of 60% grenache, 25% mourvedre (all whole cluster) and 15% syrah, the older vines planted during the 1950s. Bottled unfiltered. This should age very well." -- James Suckling 94 Points
