"Enormously deep nose of wild blackberries and herbs with a fascinating balsamic element. Gigantic energy and drive on the extremely focused, full-bodied palate. Very chalky tannins are married to intense licorice character in the imposing finish. Picked on October 20 from north-facing vineyards 500 meters above sea level.
