Tasting Notes: Lovely dark purple in colour. Expressive nose of baked dark berry fruits such as blackberry with hints of licorice. Full-bodied with soft tannins and a spicy finish. Food Pairing: Perfect with a big succulent juicy steak off the barbecue, pate on toast, or sausages. Reviews:

Made by the outstanding local co-op, the 2018 Côtes du Roussillon Villages Tautavel boasts scents of crushed stone, hints of garrigue and plummy fruit. A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan, it's full-bodied but structured, with fine-grained tannins that capably support the wine's weight and turn silky on the lengthy finish.
