“It takes years to understand the potential of the land and all of its pieces. Having farmed Sleeping Lady Vineyard for twenty years prior to replanting in 2003 informed all of our decisions. With vineyard management, you have to make a lot of really good long-term decisions, and that’s tough sometimes. The easier route is to make good short-term decisions, and that doesn’t pan out well in the long run if you’re trying to do what we’re doing. It’s a harder route but we believe it pays off in the end. It makes a better wine, makes more of it, makes it for longer.”

Powerful yet elegant, with a dark concentrated core full of spice, licorice, and dark red fruit, supported by silky tannins lengthening the mouthfeel. aged 20 months in 100% new French oak.
