The wine brings together noble Bordeaux varietals in a classic blend with a Rhône Valley twist. The blend is driven by Cabernet Sauvignon and balanced with other varietals bringing both tension and texture to the wine. Syrah gives a touch of earth and spice. Dusty cherry and red raspberry fruits lead the aromas. Undertones of star anise, vanilla, and nutmeg spice support the fruit. Further notes of culinary herbs, citrus, chaparral, mineral, and oak anchor the flavor. Medium to full bodied, fine tannins provide pleasing texture and a dry finish.
